  After 31 years of joy and dedication as a NYC Public School Teacher, Scott Rifkin will be retiring as of June 2008. He will be devoting the rest of his time to Music and other endeavors. He will miss all the friends he has made while working in the NYC Pubic School System SMR 3/14/08

The Exploration Project is proud to announce that their third in a trilogy of live performance Cds and the twelfth CD in the TEP collection Catalogue is now available on CDBABY.COM it is called THE EXPLORATION PROJECT LIVE IN NYC ON DECEMBER 8, 2007.

    The Exploration Project has been invited to play in the 2008 MAKE MUSIC NEW YORK FESTIVAL which will take place at The Bowery Poetry Club at 308 Bowery Street- near Bleecker and Houston- in the East Village on Saturday June 21St, at 5.30 pm. There will be a brief outdoor performance just prior to the main performance indoors. Stay tuned for more information.

   Scott Rifkin has commissioned Michael McBroom,  luthier, to build a Concert Model 10 String Guitar and James DeCava to build a 20 String Doubleneck Guitar. Check out the links page of this website for more information about these two great luthiers.
